I do not collect sensitive details (like your health or religion) unless you choose to tell me, and only if it helps your learning.

2. How I Use Your Information

Plan your lessons and track your progress.
Send lesson information – like reminders or time changes.
Keep records for my business (for example, for tax or scheduling)
Improve my services – for example, to understand which lessons work best.

Sometimes, I use trusted services to help run my business, such as Microsoft Teams for online lessons or Bendigo Bank to receive payments. These services may use your name or email to do their job, but they must keep your data private and safe.
Other people can only see your information if you give permission, for example, if you ask me to speak to your employer or write a reference.

5. How I Keep Your Information Safe

Digital records are stored in secure, password-protected systems.
Printed documents (like lesson notes or invoices) are locked away and shredded when no longer needed.
If a lesson is recorded (online), I will ask for your permission first.
Lesson recordings are stored safely and deleted after you finish with my services.
If a security problem ever affects your data, I will tell you and fix it quickly.

6. How Long I Keep Your Information

I keep financial and business records (like invoices or payment details) for up to five years, as Australian tax law requires.
I keep lesson notes and your learning goals for one year after your last lesson, in case you return and want to continue.
After these times, your information is safely deleted or destroyed.
You can also ask me to delete your information earlier unless I need to keep it for legal reasons.

You can ask me at any time to see what information I have about you or update anything that is incorrect.
